Sunshine Coast Open House

The Sunshine Coast’s annual event to unlock the region’s most historic and architecturally interesting buildings, Sunshine Coast Open House, was officially launched on Saturday 20 October 2019 at the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Art Gallery when Governor of Queensland, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, officially launched the event for the second consecutive year.
Mapleton Men's Shed is proud to have already been featured in this event after our members, with mentor-ship and financial support from the Sunshine Coast Council and the Australian Men's Shed Association, restored the once derelict Mapleton Forestry Office to its former glory as the site for their Shed. It is a credit for all concerned. Please visit the Sunshine Coast Open House website for more information about this annual event.
